#MISSING: Crystal Friedman, 28 - Slidell, LOUISIANA (driving a 2011 silver Hyundai Sonata with LA plate VIH 727)

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office has now extended its search for Crystal Friedman, a missing Slidell mother, into Lake Pontchartrain and along Highway 11.

The Sheriff's Office announced Friday that they are checking the waters of Lake Pontchartrain with sonar by boats and from above with helicopters.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is working with multiple law enforcement agencies in its search.

Friedman was last seen on surveillance at a gas station on Pontchartrain Drive Sunday night, after leaving a bar across the street where she had gone to watch the Saints game.  Friedman lives near the bar, with her parents and 3-year-old son, but never returned home or contacted family.  Deputies revealed Friday Friedman "had a variety of different drinks" while at the bar and purchased another pint of alcohol at the gas station.

Authorities say there was a belief she may have been heading toward another bar in the Fort Pike area and have also expanded their investigation to the southshore.  Friedman's car, a 2011 silver Hyundai Sonata, bearing Louisiana license plate VIH 727, is also missing.

If you have any information about Friedman's whereabouts, contact the St. Tammany Sheriff's Office.
