BOLO ALERT: Nick Guidry, 38 - Seattle, WASHINGTON (Navy sailor - phone pinged in Oakland, California)

Washington State veterinarian, Cherie Guidry reached out to this Examiner just minutes ago with further details regarding her husband Nick, who has been missing since Dec. 3, 2013.

Law enforcement officials have issued a BOLO, or "Be On the Lookout " alert.

OS1 Nick Guidry commutes daily from Marysville to Everett in his personal vehicle. From there he takes the metro bus into downtown Seattle to his job as a Navy recruiter, Seattle District.

He was last seen Tuesday leaving his job at approximately noon, suffering from an intense migraine for which he has sought treatment within the last few weeks. His prescription medications are not with him to anyone's knowledge.

Nick is 38, approximately 5' 8", 190 pounds. He is probably wearing denim jeans and a lightweight yellow-to-lime colored zip-up jacket; hardly sufficient for the extreme cold temperatures now hitting the Pacific Northwest.

Although his wife Cherie does not suspect foul-play, she is still distraught over his missing status. His phone last 'pinged' from Oakland, Calif., but relatives in California have not heard from him.

Nick and Cherie have a 10-year-old daughter.

Cherie has reached out to the public via her Facebook page and asks anyone with information on Nick's whereabouts to call her at 360-348-7037.

As of 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time today, Dec. 5, neither Cherie or Nick's commanding officer have any new information on his whereabouts.
