UPDATE: 12 News has learned Texas EquuSearch is assisting the Sabine County Sheriff's Office in the search for Alfred Wright, 28, of Jasper. The area searched Saturday is a heavily wooded area along Highway 87 south of Hemphill. Volunteers from all 8 volunteer fire departments in Sabine County, deputies with Jasper County, and citizen volunteers assisted in the search which ended at Saturday night. The search will resume Sunday morning.
The Sabine County Sheriff's Office tells 12 News it is investigating a missing person's case of a man from Jasper County. Family members say Alfred Wright,28, was last seen November 7 at the C-L&M store in Hemphill ,Texas. Wright's truck reportedly broke down and he was last seen walking away from the vehicle. Family members say Wright was last seen wearing blue scrubs because he is a physical therapist. Family members say Wright is married with three children.
Wright is described as 5'10'' and weighs 170 pounds. Any information about his whereabouts call the Sabine County Sheriff's Office at (409) 787-2266.
