Authorities are seeking the public's help in finding a man who hasn't been seen since he left for work assignment in Alabama.
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office says 33-year-old Aldon Kellum left in his employer's truck on Oct. 28, heading to Mobile. His mother notified deputies Oct. 31, after she hadn't heard from him.
She told deputies she called his employer and learned about the trip to Alabama.
Deputies spoke with his boss at C&C Utility Construction in DeBary, who said Kellum had planned to see a friend in Gainesville. Several attempts were made to reach Kellum by cell phone. Deputies later learned that Kellum never visited the friend.
He was driving a truck with license plate number 342PQP. Anyone with information is asked to call the Volusia Sheriff's Office or 911.
Respectfully,
