Detectives from the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigative Section are asking for the public's assistance in locating a woman missing from Silver Spring.
Lisa Dieter, age 44, of the 600 block of University Blvd East, was last seen leaving her residence on Thursday, November 28 at approximately 10:30 a.m. Ms. Dieter left on foot and stated that she was going to a local store. She never returned to her residence. She does not have access to a vehicle but she is familiar with public transportation.
Ms. Dieter was last seen wearing an oversized black jacket with fur on the hood, a brown sweater, black jeans, and white sneakers. She was carrying a purple backpack when last seen. Ms. Dieter is described as 5'11″ tall, weighing 170 pounds with blue eyes and blond hair. She has a tattoo of a butterfly on her neck.
Police are concerned for her welfare and mental well-being. She is in need of medication that she does not have with her.
Anyone with information about Dieter's whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
