CRITICAL #MISSING: Roger "RJ" Joseph Lozano, 25 - Dixon, CALIFORNIA (MILD MENTAL IMPAIRMENT)

A 25-year-old Dixon man with mild mental impairment is missing, police said Tuesday night.

Roger Joseph Lozano, also known as RJ, was last seen about 7 a.m. in Dixon on Monday. He text-messaged family members about an hour later, saying he planned on taking a bus to Sacramento, to shop at Arden Fair Mall, according to KCRA News.

About 10:25 a.m., Lozano sent another text message, this time saying he was on the light rail, but still heading toward the mall, according to a news release from the Dixon Police Department.

At 1:45 p.m., Lozano text-messaged relatives again -- and said he had arrived at the mall and was eating Chinese food.

But his family hasn't heard from him since then, and says all calls are going straight to Lozano's voicemail.

Police said Lozano sometimes can be intimidating to strangers.

He left the house Monday wearing a red shirt, a black-and-gray hooded jacket, light gray shorts and black shoes. Lozano has brown hair, brown eyes, weighs about 235 and stands at 5 feet 10 inches tall.

Anyone with information on Lozano's whereabouts is asked to call Dixon police at 707-678-7080.
