The San Francisco Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in
locating an at risk missing person.
Paulo Netto is visiting San Francisco from Los Angeles. On 10/28/13 at
approximately 11 PM, Netto called relatives in Brazil and a friend in Los
Angeles indicating he was in trouble. Netto stated he was being followed
and needed police assistance. That was the last known contact from Netto.
Netto’s sister arrived in San Franciso and filed a missing persons report.
She listed him as Paulo Reis. Netto may be in an altered state of mind.
Phone records indicate Netto was in the area of 500 block of Shotwell on
10/28/13 at approximately 11 PM.
Netto is a 22 year old male, approximately 6 feet tall, 180 pounds. Netto
has brown hair and brown eyes. Netto speaks English and Portuguese. He may
be carrying a dark colored backpack and iphone 5. We don’t have a clothing
description at this time. SFPD has searched the area of Shotwell with
negative results.
Anyone with information regarding Netto, please call SFPD or 911.
