Police and family members are asking for the public’s help in location two women who disappeared from their home Friday morning and haven’t been seen or heard from since.
Chom Ho Smith, Jean Renee Harwell were last seen around 7:15 a.m. walking from their residence in the 1000 block of South Orange Grove Avenue, in the city of Los Angeles, police said.
Both women suffer from dementia and their families are extremely concerned for their safety, police said.
Smith is described as a 76-year-old Asian with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a beige shirt, gray pants and black shoes.
Harwell is described as a 67-year-old White with gray hair and hazel eyes. She stands 5 feet tall and weighs about 97 pounds. She was last seen wearing a gray jacket and white pants.
Anyone with information was urged to call the Los Angeles Police Department, Missing Persons Unit, Detective Carlton at 213-996-1800
