Deputies are asking for the public's help in locating a missing Volusia County man.
Officials are hoping they can find 77-year-old William Culbreath, of Deltona, who went missing Thursday, said Gary Davidson,Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
Culbreath's wife reported him missing after coming home from work to an empty house.
She expected Culbreath to already be back from his medical appointment in Orange City that was scheduled for Thursday morning. She isn't sure if he made it to the appointment, Davidson said.
Culbreath's family searched the neighborhood and called local hospitals trying to find him before contacting the Sheriff's Office.
The man could be suffering from delusions.
Culbreath is driving a black, 1997 Ford van with a gray stripe and Florida tag VA6257.
Deputies described him as a 5-foot 8-inches with salt-and-pepper hair and a mustache.
Anyone who sees Culbreath or his van is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 386-736-5999.
Respectfully,
