The Macomb County Sheriff is asking for help locating a missing military veteran
from New Haven who suffers from mental illness.
59-year old Richard Furdock was last seen at 5:15 Monday morning at the Veterans Affairs Hospital on John R Street in Detroit. According to the hospital Mr. Furdock's appointment was canceled just before his visit but he still arrived at the hospital.
By the afternoon Furdock had not returned to the group home where he lives.
Furdock is 6 feet tall and approximately 170lbs, he has brown eyes and close-cropped brown hair.
