URGENT #MISSING: Charley Graham, 74 - Marion County, OREGON (MAY BE CONFUSED DUE TO MEDICATION AFTER SURGERY)

Police are looking for a Gates man who underwent surgery at the end of September and told friends he was experiencing an adverse reaction to prescribed medications.

Friends of Charley Graham, 74, had been checking in on him since the surgery. He told them the pain medications he was taking made him confused.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said neighbors called their department to report him missing. He was last seen at his house in Gates, a small town on Oregon 22 35 miles Southeast of Salem, on Tuesday.

Neighbors said it was unusual for Graham to leave his small dog behind. Nothing in the home was disturbed, so police do not suspect foul play.

Graham is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 220 pounds. He has crew-cut gray/brown hair, brown eyes and wears glasses. He is missing his front teeth and probably hasn't shaved since undergoing surgery. He was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and gray sweatpants.

Sheriff’s officials say Graham’s 2002 burgundy colored Mazda Protege, Oregon license plate 177GLG, is also missing.

Anyone who sees Graham or his car is asked to call 9-1-1 and report his location.  Any other information can be sent to Deputy Debbie Myers at the Marion County Sheriff's Office, 503-588-5032.  Please refer to Case No. 13-18246
