Unidentified living "Jane Doe" - Found on September 14, 2013 wandering the streets of Compton, California.
LAKEWOOD >> Lakewood Regional Medical Center officials are turning to the public in the hopes of identifying a woman who has been at the facility for more than a month.
She is thought to be about 70 years old, white, standing about 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing 120 pounds, hospital staff said. She may have a British accent.
The woman was found wandering on Santa Fe Avenue in Compton on Sept. 14. Paramedics transported the unidentified woman to the hospital’s emergency department for treatment. She has remained at the hospital since she was admitted.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has been involved and is not yet able to identify the patient.
Hospital staff hopes by releasing a photo of the woman, someone may be able to identify her.
