#MISSING: Alex White, 13 - Nashua, NEW HAMPSHIRE

Kay White  wants her son Alex to know he's not in trouble. She just wants him to come home.

"He's been bullied at school this year – it's been going on since the first day. It finally came to a head, and Alex got in trouble at school Wednesday for using his phone and threatening another kid. So when he got home, I took away his phone. Punishment fit the crime, right?" White said.

"Only now, I wish I hadn't. I know he thinks he's in more trouble now, but I just want him to know I love him, and I want him to come home," White said.

Alex plays football for the PAL Force football team. He's about 5-foot-10 and weighs 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen with his skateboard and a black backpack, possibly wearing a red hoodie, although his mom isn't certain of the color. She said he grabbed some clothes and may have about $20 on him.

"I was just at Elm Street School. The principal called a bunch of his friends down, and we asked them all if anyone knew where he was. Nobody did. I'm hoping someone knows where he is and just isn't telling. I just hope he's safe," White said.

Alex is an eighth-grader at Elm Street. This is the first time he's had any trouble with bullies, said his mom.

She said one of the football dads thought he spotted Alex near Greeley Park around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

"He didn't realize at the time that Alex was missing and didn't think it could be him, because it was so late on a school night," White said.

The tightknit PAL Force network of moms, dads, coaches and players have been spreading the word since they learned Alex was missing, said his mom.

She explained that her son has had a rough year.

"We went through a divorce a year ago and he took it kind of rough, but he's just a good kid; every parent loves him, every coach loves him, he doesn't mean any harm," White said. "He's a big kid, and I know he can take care of himself, but he's not a fighter. He doesn't have a heart for that."

She said his dad, who also lives in the city, is out looking for him around the clock as well.

"The only family outside of Nashua where he might go that I could think of are his grandparents in Dracut, Mass., but I don't expect him to come home of his own free will at this point because I'm sure he thinks he's in trouble. He's not, though," White said.

She said Nashua Police are on the lookout, and were also notified at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday. White was told that police were stopping anyone on foot after 1 a.m. to see if they fit Alex's description.

If you know Alex's whereabouts, or believe you have seen him, please contact Nashua Police at 603-594-3500, or leave an anonymous tip on the CrimeLine at 603-589-1665. All leads are important.
