Here's our earlier story:

Columbus Police are continuing to search for a 66-year-old woman who went missing on Friday, officials said Monday.

Mattie L. Carson, who lives at 1607 Laney Drive, was last seen driving a gray 2000 Dodge Stratus with a handicap tag. The car was found downtown at the bus station on Veterans Parkway over the weekend, Maj. Gene Hillhouse said Monday. Carson is a 5-foot-7 285-pound African-American woman. She wears glasses.

Carson is in the early stages of dementia, Hillhouse said.

Anyone with information about Carson is asked to call Columbus police at 706-653-3449 or 706-653-3400.
