URGENT MISSING: Oliver Phillip Heaton, 71 - Rushville, ILLINOIS (ALZHEIMER'S)

Local search and rescue crews are joining the hunt for a missing Schuyler County man.
Multiple agencies are currently looking for an elderly Rushville man who has not been seen since early Thursday morning.
Oliver Phillip Heaton went missing from his residence shortly before 11 a.m. Authorities say he suffers from dementia and Alzheimer's disease and is believed to have wandered on foot.
Multiple crews, including Tazewell and Peoria County rescue teams, were on the scene in Rushville Thursday. They are heavily searching areas near Highway 67 east of Rushville. But so far, there are no signs of Heaton.
"We have an airplane up in the air. We have helicopters in the air. We have our search units going on right now and we have not heard any info,” said Crystal Thompson of the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Department.
Heaton is described as a 5-foot-5-inch elderly white male with brown hair and usually wears blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office at
217-322-4366.
