CRITICAL MISSING: Gloria Baez, 18 - Chicago (Southwest Side), ILLINOIS (DIMINSHED MENTAL CAPACITY)

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a mentally disabled woman missing from the Southwest Side since last Thursday.

Gloria Baez, 18, was last seen in the 2400 block of South Karlov Avenue on Aug. 8, according to a missing person alert issued by Area Central detectives.

Baez, who recently moved to Chicago from Denver, has a diminished mental capacity, police said.

She is unfamiliar with Chicago and may be confused about her whereabouts.

She is described as a 5-foot, 120-pound Hispanic woman with brown eyes, brown hair and a light complexion.

She was last seen wearing blue jean shorts, pink shoes and a white T-shirt with Marilyn Monroe’s face on it, police said.

Anyone with information should call detectives at (312) 747-8380.
