Missing Alto man located and safe
By Rob Moore Editor
CLARKESVILLE – Habersham County authorities are thanking the public for help in locating a missing man who had been without needed medication for more than a week.
Curtis William Long, 34, of Alto, who had last been seen around 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at his home in Alto was located safe at a medical facility Tuesday.
The medical facility was unrelated to his disappearance, county officials say.
"The Habersham County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank everyone for their tips and support of putting the word out of Curtis William Long's disappearance, which led to someone calling his whereabouts today," said Sgt. Richard Stein of the HCSO Special Victims Unit.
Thank you for your attention,
Allison Miller
