Missing: Dovie Kennemer, 84 Mesa, AZ

MESA, AZ - Mesa police need your help locating an 84-year-old woman who went missing Thursday night.

Sgt. Tony Landato said Dovie Irene Kennemer was last seen around 8:45 p.m. near Ellsworth and Guadalupe Roads.

Landato said Kennemer was sitting in the passenger seat of her daughter-in-law's car. She ran inside for a quick moment and when she came out, Kennemer was no longer in the vehicle.

Kennemer suffers from severe Alzheimer's and is not on medication.

She recently broke her hip and moves slowly. She has no identification on her, but should know her name.

She is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, 125 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who sees Kennemer is asked to call the Mesa Police Department at 480-644-2211.
