Circumstance: Maribel Manriquez Ramos has not been seen or heard from since May 2, 2013 after she did not show up for a baseball game she was to play. She is a student at California State University-Fullerton and an Army veteran who served in Iraq. She is a criminal justice major who served in South Korea and Iraq as an Army sergeant from 2001 to 2008. She was listed among the veteran graduates to be recognized at the Cal-State University's annual Veterans Appreciation Night on Saturday, the day after she was reported missing and was supposed to speak. She is due to graduate on May 26, 2013. She would not go missing on her own. Police label her missing as suspicious. Her car is at her apartment complex. Her keys, cellphone and purse are missing. Friends say she would never leave her family or her obligations behind.
