The Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing 11-year-old Westwego girl. About 9:30 p.m. Friday, sheriff's officers responded to a missing persons complaint on the 9200 block of Paula Court in Westwego.
Family members last saw Tationa Youngblood when she was leaving her home on Friday night, according to the Sheriff's Office. She has plaited brown hair that stretches to the middle of her back and is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, according to the Sheriff's Office.
"Although we do not suspect foul play in her disappearance at this time, we are seeking the public's assistance in locating Ms. Youngblood because of the child's age," the Sheriff's Office stated in an announcement on Saturday afternoon.
Anyone with information about Youngblood's whereabouts is asked to contact the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office's Missing Persons Bureau at 504.356.5300 or Crimestoppers at 504.822.1111.
