The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information about a man who has been missing since Thursday.
A sheriff’s office release says Michael Tod Buschagen was last seen at his residence on MacArthur Lane, a Burlington address in the county’s jurisdiction.
He is described as a white male, about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds and with a muscular build. He has blue eyes and is bald. He is 32.
The sheriff’s office says Buschagen’s vehicle is parked at his residence and his wallet, along with credit cards and identification, was found inside the vehicle.
“There has been no outgoing telephone activity since 10:04 a.m. on Thursday,” the release says. Its says .45-caliber ammunition was found in his vehicle and he may have a .45-caliber handgun with him.
The sheriff’s office said Buschagen suffers from plantar fasciitis, which causes foot pain and may lead to difficulty in walking.
“He has not shown up for work the past three days, which is very unusual,” the release says.
