New Castle County Police are currently searching for John Krisciunas, an 85-year-old white man from the 100 block of Wynnwood Drive Windybush in North Wilmington.

On Sunday around 1:30 a.m., New Castle County Police responded to the 100 block of Wynwood Drive in reference to the report of a missing person.

Officers learned John was last seen by a family member as he left the residence earlier Saturday afternoon when he left to go to a local hobby store.

He was reported leaving the residence in his Silver 2010 Ford Escape bearing Delaware 549167.

Assisting officers checked the residence, store, and surrounding areas he is known to frequent, but they were unsuccessful in their efforts to locate Mr. Krisciunas.

He is described as a white male, 5'11" 220 lbs. white hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing blue pants, a grey sweatshirt with a front pocket and a black jacket. He also wears eye glasses. With the recent weather and some health conditions, there is a concern for Johns welfare.
