The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Lake Grove man who has mild dementia and diabetes.
Hugh Powell was last seen on December 9 after dropping off his wife at Stony Brook University Hospital. Powell told his wife he was going home but never returned to his residence.
Powell, 78, of Dandelion Court, is black with brown eyes, gray hair, approximately 6 feet tall and 160 pounds. Powell was last seen wearing a blue rain coat with a brown sweater and tan pants. Powell drives a gray Subaru Outback, NY plate ESE 7118.
Anyone with information is requested to contact Fourth Squad detectives at 631-854-8452.
