URGENT #MISSING: Leonard Allen Vunck, 67 - Ludington, MICHIGAN (dementia)

Authorities are looking for a missing Ludington man said to have dementia.
The Mason County Sheriff's Office says Leonard Allen Vunck was last seen Wednesday, when he called for a taxi to take him from his home to the Eden Township area in the southeastern part of the county. He had a long gun, possibly a pellet gun, with him, as well as a tent and ammunition, saying he was meeting some friends to go hunting in the woods.
Vunck, 67, is described as white, 6'0", 230 lbs., with grey hair and hazel eyes.
Mason County authorities say they've issued a be-on-the-lookout alert to surrounding counties. People close to Vunck say he's done this before, but they're concerned, given his dementia.
Anyone who knows where Leonard Vunck might be should call the Mason/Oceana 911 Center at 231-869-5858. Investigators didn't provide a picture, but people who know Vunck provided WZZM 13 the black-and-white image seen above.
