Missing Adult alert cancelled located safe; Nina Haney 71 - Uhrichsville, Ohio

BELLEFONTAINE Nina Haney of Uhrichsville, reported missing since Sunday night, has been located and is safe.
Sheriff Andrew J. Smith of the Logan County Sheriff's Office said Haney, 71, was found early this morning when people located her near her car on an abandoned road off Snow Valley Road, located near Mad River Mountain, a ski resort.
Smith said people had reported seeing a car drive off Snow Valley Road onto an unpaved lane around 10 or 11 Tuesday evening. A couple of hours later they went to check on the car because it never came back to the main road. They found Haney outside of her car and they called authorities.
Deputies responded to the scene and Haney was transferred by Tri-Valley Fire & EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine.
Smith said deputies reported that Haney was in good condition when she was found. Bellefontaine is located about and hour northwest of Columbus. Haney's family members left this morning to reunite with her.
"She apparently had driven back on the road and down and embankment, where the car became stuck," said Smith. "She's lucky because there is a river that is close by."
A Missing Adult Alert had been issued by the Uhrichsville Police Department.
