The N.C. Center for Missing Persons has issued a Silver Alert for a missing endangered man from Kinston.
Citizens are asked to be on the lookout for 82-year-old Joseph Ethan Cooke, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment. He was last seen at the N.C. State Veterans home at 2150 Hull Road in Kinston.
Cooke is 5-foot-7 and weighs 186 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
