Charleston Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a who hasn't been heard from since the beginning of September and a second woman who may have information about her whereabouts.

Police say Mary Linda Walters, 55, rented a tan 2014 Toyota Corolla from Triangle Rent-A-Car and failed to return it. 

Juanita Murphy, 52, is the last known person to be seen with Walters over the Labor Day weekend and may know where Walters is, police say.

The vehicle Walters rented has a North Carolina license tag, AED8266, and may be in Murphy's possession, according to a release from the police department.

Walters has not been heard from since Sept. 1, but is known to frequent the West Ashley area, police say. They say Murphy has been known to frequent West Ashley, James Island, downtown and Goose Creek.

Walters is 5'4", weighs 150 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes. Murphy is 5'3", weighs 120 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes.

Police have said they do not suspect foul play.
