ENDANGERED #MISSING: Bonnie Dora Moore, 44 - Los Angeles, CALIFORNIA (NEEDS MEDICATION - from Utah)

The Los Angeles Police Dept. is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing Utah woman -- who a friend said was arrested while walking on an L.A. area freeway last month, after leaving her vehicle in traffic.
Bonnie Dora Moore, 44, was spotted by an officer walking down a highway in downtown Los Angeles on Sept. 17, according to friend Martin King. He said she was arrested and booked into jail because the officer believed Moore was under the influence of something.
Moore's vehicle was found a short distance away in traffic, and the California Highway Patrol had to push it off the roadway, King added. The vehicle was subsequently impounded.
According to King, Moore was booked into jail just before 5 a.m. on Sept. 17 and was released on her own recognizance at approximately 9:35 p.m. that same day. He said she left the police station wearing blue flannel pants and a green shirt, but no shoes. She was last seen after her release in the 100 block of N. Los Angeles St. near the police station, the Los Angeles Police Dept. (LAPD) said, and has not been seen since.
Moore, a disabled veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Germany, has mental health challenges and requires medication. King said he believes that Moore may have been off her medication at the time of her arrest, which could explain the officer's believing she was under the influence of some type of stimulant.
Moore, who is from Tooele but was living in Castle Dale, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 175 pounds. Family and friends aren't even sure why she was in Los Angeles. However, King said it's extremely unlikely that Moore, an experienced traveler, got lost there.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the LAPD's Missing Persons Unit at (213) 996-1800.
Facebook page has been established to provide information and encourage anyone with information on Moore's whereabouts to come forward.
