Earthly body located; Chester Stygar 81 - Trinity County, California

Trinity County officials recovered the body of missing man Chester Stygar, 81, from the Trinity River on Thursday afternoon in the Douglas City area.

On Thursday about 1:45 p.m., the Trinity County Sheriff's Office said it received a report of an unresponsive man in the river at the campground off Steiner Flat Road in Douglas City.

The body was identified as Stygar, who went missing from Douglas City on Tuesday.
