#MISSING SISTERS: Danielle, 13 & Sydney, 15 - Orem, UTAH (last known to be visiting mother who has summer custody - no contact with the girls since early July)

Brian Wolferts is looking for any information that may help him locate his two teenage daughters.
Wolferts said the last contact he had with his daughters, Danielle, 13 (left), and Sydney (right), 15, was in early July, while they were spending time with their mother, Michelle Wolferts, in Orem for the summer. The girls were with their mother for a summer custody visit and were set to return July 10 to Kansas, where Brian now lives.
But his girls never came home.
"I miss them terribly," he said in an interview with the Daily Herald.
According to the Orem Police Department, Brian Wolferts has custody of his daughters and Michelle, his ex-wife, has visitation rights. The girls traveled to Orem in May to be with their mother, but they have not been heard from or seen since July.
"Basically, they are overdue. They were supposed to been returned to him, but they haven't," said Lt. Craig Martinez of the Orem Police Department. "We have been unable to get a hold of the mother."
Martinez said the department believes the daughters are safe and are still in Utah, but beyond that, no one seems to have an idea of where the girls have gone.
Wolferts said his ex-wife was living in Orem, but that it is his understanding that she is now living in Layton. He said he sent the girls out to visit her twice earlier this year and they returned without any problems.
He did indicate he and his ex-wife have had custody issues in the past, and that she once had full custody of the daughters. Wolferts said he was given custody of his daughters four years ago.
Wolferts said he believes his daughters are together. He said it was not characteristic of them to run away.
A Facebook page has been set up to assist in the efforts to locate the girls. The page can be found by typing, "Help find our missing girls" into the Facebook search bar.
"I wish I knew where my kids are," Wolferts said. "I hope they're OK."
Anyone with additional information about the girls' whereabouts is encouraged to call the Orem Police Department.
