MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Unified Police say 76-year-old Bobbie Bond who was had been missing since Monday night after he walked out of the Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center has been found safe.
Tuesday the Unified Police Department issued an Endangered Missing Advisory 76-year-old Bobbie Bond. Police say Bond has severe dementia.
Bond was last seen at the Mt. Olympus Rehabilitation Center about 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
He was later seen leaving the care center on video about 6:30 p.m.
He was only wearing a shirt, glasses, suspenders, and blue jeans.
Due to Bond's severe dementia and because this was his first day at the care center it is believed that he would not know how to find his way back to the center.
Bond did not have a cell phone with him. He had gone missing before and was been located by citizens walking along the street. Police were concerned about Bond due to his dementia and the cold weather. He was not dressed to be in these temperatures.
Bond was found at Westminster College at about 2 p.m. Tuesday. He is being evaluated by paramedics, but is safe and will be reunited with family.
