Investigators have identified a woman whose body was discovered near Pinellas Trail on Saturday afternoon.
A passerby found the body around 4:30 p.m. in a grassy ditch west of the Pinellas Trail and north of Fairmont Street, according to Clearwater police.
The woman has been identified as 41-year-old Lydia Tross, of Clearwater. Officials said Tross was reported missing since the morning of August 5. Her death is considered suspicious.
The cause of death is being investigated by a medical examiner.
