Earthly Body Located: Jane Peterson, 56 - St. George, Kansas

Jane Peterson, a 56-year-old woman from St. George, was found dead in Tuttle Creek Lake on February 28.
Peterson was declared missing on January 19, and several search parties were looking in the Tuttle Creek area for weeks before her body was finally found.
Family will be meeting friends for visitation at the Yorgenson-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home in Manhattan from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, March 8. The family will be having a private graveside service, and she will be cremated.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association in the care of the funeral home.
Peterson was born June 26, 1957, to Mark and Isabel (Gros) Torrey in Wamego. She was a lifetime area resident.
She worked for 35 years as a Senior Administrative Assistant for the Physics Department at K-State.
She was married to Monty Peterson. He survives, as well as her three children, four siblings, and her mother and father-in-law.
