#MISSING: Leanne Hecht Bearden, 33 - San Antonio, TEXAS (from Denver, CO)

Law enforcement authorities will resume searching in Garden Ridge on Saturday for a Colorado woman who hasn't been seen since reportedly leaving a relative's home there on Jan. 17 for an afternoon walk.

Leanne Hecht Bearden, 33, has been the subject of air and ground searches, flier distributions and a police investigation since vanishing from the Sumac Lane home of her in-laws, where she and husband Josh Bearden had been visiting.
"I have about a thousand or two thousand possible scenarios, but what I'm doing is sticking with what we know," Will Bearden said of his daughter-in-law's fate. "What we know is she was seen walking out of our driveway in a northerly direction about 1:30 p.m."
In announcing the new search, Garden Ridge Police Chief Donna O'Conner urged Bearden's friends and supporters to temporarily suspend their efforts to find her on Saturday "so not to interfere with the search or contaminate the area."
Among those slated to assist are Texas Search and Rescue, Comal County deputies and constables, Schertz police, the Texas Rangers and emergency medical responders from the area.
Bearden's family expressed appreciation for all that had been done to find her.
"We remain hopeful that we'll be able to find Leanne alive and well," Will Bearden said Friday. "We urge anyone with information to call the Garden Ridge police" at 210-651-6441.
Josh and Leanne Bearden were alone at the house when told him she was going for a walk, Will Bearden said. A tree trimmer working in the neighborhood reported seeing her leave on foot.
Josh Bearden, 39, called police to report his wife missing when she hadn't returned four hours later. She had cash and a credit card with her, but no phone.
Although the tree trimmer described the pedestrian he saw as a teenager, Will Bearden said that description fits his youthful-looking, petite daughter-in-law, who is 5-foot-2 and weighs 100 pounds.
Josh Bearden and his wife had planned to return to Denver on Tuesday. Instead, anxious relatives and friends organized a search for her Wednesday that involved more than 50 people in the area of FM 3009 and Nachodoghes Road.
On Thursday, the family hired two helicopters to search by air.
"The weather wasn't in our favor," Will Bearden said. "We didn't see anything that was useful."
On Friday, the family organized a flier distribution in the neighborhood.
Police also have searched the family's phones and computers for clues, said Will Bearden, noting, "Were cooperating with them completely."
