#MISSING COLLEGE STUDENT: Eric Michael Green, 18 - Alfred, NEW YORK (STUDENT AT ALFRED STATE - MAY BE DRIVING A SILVER OR GRAY FOUR DOOR 2006 CHEVY IMPALA WITH NY PLATE GDY1052)

Alfred State Police are investigating the disappearance of a local student who was last seen Monday night.
Alfred State College student Eric Michael Green was reported missing by his father to Alfred State University Police on Wednesday.
Green is a freshman at Alfred State College majoring in computer technology. He graduated from Alfred-Almond Central School last June.
Green's father contacted authorities after attempting to call his son's cell phone several times with no response, police said. An investigation was immediately started and is ongoing.
Green's mother has posted several flyers around Alfred since his disappearance.
"Eric is a tall, lanky teenager who usually wears a baseball-type cap, sometimes with the flap backwards," read the flyer.
Green was last spotted Monday, at 6:18 p.m. by a surveillance video outside the Student Leadership Center. University Police Chief Les Kachurek said Green used his student swipe card for a meal, and then left the building. He was wearing a dark-colored, zip-up hooded sweatshirt, light blue jeans, red sneakers with white laces, and a light colored baseball cap with a red brim.
According to Kachurek, there were no reports of any out of the ordinary behavior from Green recently.
"There has been no indication of anything unusual," said Kachurek. "That is what makes his disappearance so strange."
Green is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. He has short brown hair and brown eyes. He resides on campus in Main Gate A.
Green may be operating a silver or gray four door 2006 Chevrolet Impala bearing NY State license number GDY1052. The vehicle has a rear spoiler, a receiver-type trailer hitch and a dent on one of the driver's side doors.
"Eric was a good student and a good kid [at Alfred-Almond]," said Alfred-Almond Superintendent Richard Calkins. "We hope that this investigation is concluded quickly and that Eric is safe."
The University Police Department has asked for the community's assistance in locating him.
