SILVER ALERT: Naomi Pawless, 87 - Tussy, OKLAHOMA (DEMENTIA - CONSIDERED IN IMMINENT DANGER OR SERIOUS BODILY HARM OR DEATH)

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for an elderly woman from Tussy, Okla.

According to OHP, 87-year-old Naomi Pawless left her home in Tussy around 9 a.m. Friday, en route to Lawton, Okla. to attend a funeral.

Family members tell police Pawless never arrived at the funeral and they have not heard from her since.

Pawless has blonde hair and was last seen wearing a brown short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans. She was driving a white 1987 Dodge 4-door vehicle. A license plate number was not given.

Troopers say Pawless suffers from dementia and is distraught due to a recent death in the family. She is under proven mental or physical disability and is considered in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death.

If you have any information regarding her whereabouts, call police immediately. A photograph of Pawless was not immediately available.

Tussy is an unincorporated community on the borders of Garvin and Carter Counties.
