Police are seeking the public's help in locating a 9-year-old girl and her mother, who suffers from medical and mental issues, who both went missing several days ago.
Ebony Jackson, 28, and her daughter, Hope, left their north Stockton home some time after 11 p.m. Saturday and may have been seen near the No. 40 bus stop on Lower Sacramento Road at Hammer Lane sometime Monday, according to police.
Ebony Jackson, a black woman who stands 5 feet 6 tall and weighs 185 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair, was last seen wearing “Sponge Bob” pajamas and may have a “Sponge Bob” purse with her. She is mentally challenged and has a speech impediment that makes her difficult to understand, police reported.
Her daughter, Hope, stands 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 108 pounds. She has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a pink and white T-shirt and gray shorts.
Police are asking anyone with information on their whereabouts to call 911 or (209) 937-7911.
