URGENT MISSING: Allen Wayne Cowan, 58 - Ponchatoula, LOUISIANA (MEDICAL NEEDS)
Tangipahoa Parish sheriff’s deputies are looking for a 58-year-old Ponchatoula man last seen on Sunday.
Allen Wayne Cowan, of Weinberger Road in Ponchatoula, has been missing since 4 p.m. Sunday, Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Dawn Panepinto said in a news release.
Cowan suffers from a medical need and his family said he may become violent without his medication, Panepinto said.
Cowan may have attempted to hitchhike to New Orleans, Panepinto said.
Cowan, who wears eyeglasses, is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and hiking boots. He also has a large scar on his forehead.
Foul play is not considered a factor in Cowan’s disappearance, Panepinto said.
