Missing teen with autism found safe

KEIZER, Ore. (KOIN) — A 16-year-old with autism who had not been seen since Friday night in the Keizer area was found safe on Monday.
Matthew Giddings was last seen walking away from his sister’s home and in the area of River Road and Lockhaven Drive North.
His father said the teen has autism and various developmental and mood-related disorderes, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said in a Monday release.
His father contacted KOIN 6 News Monday evening and said the teen was found and is safe. No further information is available.
