LOCATED SAFELY: Barry Shutter, 68 - MA - Vermont

UPDATE:  A missing man from Oxford who hadn't been seen in more than 24 hours was found Sunday by U.S. Border Patrol agents in northern Vermont.

An hour after Oxford police posted on their Facebook page Sunday night that Barry Shutter, 68, was found, a dispatcher confirmed that he had been located and was OK.

Oxford, Massachusetts  man, 68, reported missing

OXFORD — Police are asking anyone who knows the whereabouts of or has information on Barry L. Shutter to call them.

Mr. Shutter, 68, was last seen Saturday about 10:30 a.m. when he was scheduled to head to Thetford, Vt., to meet with family, according to police. Family expected him to arrive in Vermont within three hours but he did not arrive.

Mr. Shutter was driving his blue 2000 Ford Ranger pickup alone. The license plate number is 8548RY. Police said nothing about his disappearance appears suspicious and it is unclear whether there are any medical issues that could have caused him not to arrive in Vermont.

Mr. Shutter is described as a white man, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing170 pounds. He has blue eyes and is bald. Anyone with information is asked to call Oxford Police at (508) 987-0156.
