Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing 62-year-old woman who suffers from depression along with other medical conditions, Detective Sgt. James Ryan said Friday.
―>The woman, Chandrika Purohit, 62, of the Dayton section, was dropped off by her husband Thursday afternoon at the Walmart on Route 1 in North Brunswick. She was supposed to call him when she was done shopping but never did, Ryan said.
Police were able to track her cellphone to the area near Route 27 and Easton Avenue in New Brunswick at about 8 p.m. Thursday.
―>Purohit is 5 feet tall and weighs 130 pounds. She was last seen wearing a light brown shirt, light blue sweater, dark pants, white sneakers and eyeglasses.
