URGENT MISSING MAN: Ernest Sanders, 78 - Chicago, ILLINOIS (DEMENTIA)

Police are searching for a 78-year-old man in the early stages of dementia who is missing from the Far South Side. 

Ernest Sanders was last seen Wednesday at the nursing home where he was recently sent to live on the 11400 block of South Oakley Avenue. He had resided on the 3900 block of North Clark Street, police said.

―>Sanders was last seen wearing a red hat, red hoodie, gray overcoat, blue pants and white gym shoes, police said.

―>Police described Sanders as black, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 144 pounds. He has a medium complexion, black hair and brown eyes.


Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact the Area South Special Victims Unit at 312-747-8274.
