The New York City Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the following missing teenage boy, who lives within the confines of the 79th Precinct.
According to police, a 14-year-old boy named Louis Martinez is missing.
Cops said that Martinez was last seen leaving his home on Dekalb Avenue, between Marcus Garvey Boulevard and Throop Avenue, to go to school on Friday, March 15 at approximately 8 a.m.
―>Martinez is described as a Hispanic male standing about 5-foot-8 and weighing approximately 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black jacket with two stripes, a black baseball cap with the letter "C" embroidered on it, and black jeans.
Anyone with information regarding this missing teenager is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
