Missing Hayward mother found safe over the weekend By Natalie Neysa Alund Bay Area News Group Posted:   03/03/2013 08:40:02 PM PST Updated:   03/03/2013 08:40:04 PM PST HAYWARD -- A Hayward mother who'd been missing since last month has been found safe, police said. Samantha Tuia, 29, of the 7800 block of Havana Avenue, disappeared on Feb. 19, but returned home Saturday night, said Sgt. Eric Krimm. "She stated she was not the victim of any crime, and was with a friend," Krimm said Sunday. "She did not offer any explanation for avoiding her family." Tuia, who has a 6-year-old daughter, told family she was headed to work that day but police later learned she was not employed, Krimm said.
