Riverside County sheriff’s deputies are looking for a missing 63-year-old Lake Elsinore man with Alzheimer’s disease who wandered away from his home on Maes Avenue Thursday evening and has not been seen since.
─>Craig Steneart left his home in the 29000 block of Maes Avenue about 5:20 p.m. Thursday. Family members searched for him in vain and called sheriff’s deputies at 9 a.m. Friday.
Authorities searched the area with the help of police dogs and a helicopter, but could not find him, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release. A flier with his photograph was circulated among local law enforcement agencies.
─>Steneart, who is prone to extreme confusion, is described as a 6-foot-1-inch tall white male weighing about 185 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket, red shirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about him should call the Lake Elsinore Police Department at 951-245-3300 or 951-776-1099.
