The couple was found by Border Patrol agents in Sierra Blanca. Their Hyundai SUV had gotten stuck in the desert, near the border with Mexico, police said.
"They had gotten lost, they drifted a little too far. But, you know we are just relieved border patrol was there and able to find them and get them to safety," Jody Sanchez, their granddaughter said.

The El Paso Police Department is asking for the public's help in
finding a missing elderly couple.
Ricardo and Martha Irma Beltran, both 75-years-old, were last seen
on Saturday at their lower valley home on Foster.
―>Family members said the couple planned on taking a drive in
their 2005 white Hyundai Tucson. Friends and family members have not
heard from them since they set out on their drive.
―>Ricardo Beltran is described as a Hispanic male, 5-feet,
8-inches in height and 225-pounds. He is said to have
salt-and-pepper hair, a white mustache, and brown eyes. He is believed to
be wearing a light blue zip-up sweater, brown pants and tennis shoes.
Martha Irma Beltran is described as a Hispanic female, 5-feet,
3-inches in height, 180-pounds, blond hairand hazel eyes. She is believed
to be wearing a cream-colored sweater, blue jeans, and brown shoes.
Their
white Hyundai Tucson has Texas license plates DBF247.
―>Ricardo Beltran suffers from various medical conditions that
require daily medication and is required to receive treatment three times a
week, police said.
The
couple's family said they like to visit the desert areas off of Montana Vista
and Red Sands, as well as the surrounding areas of Clint and San Elizario.
