Body found near Keno is likely missing Klamath Falls man, Oregon State Police say

A body found Wednesday on a spur road north of Keno was tentatively identified as a missing Klamath Falls man, the Oregon State Police said.
A car belonging to Robert Lear, 39, was found Dec. 23 in the Clover Creek Road area, said Lt. Gregg Hastings, a state police spokesman.
Lear's family had reported him missing Dec. 20, nine days after they last heard from him. His car apparently had been abandoned for about two weeks.
The search for Lear, who was moving to Seattle, was suspended amid deteriorating weather and deep snow.
This week, a former member of Klamath County Search & Rescue was walking through the area when he spotted the man's body, Hastings said. State police and theKlamath County sheriff's and district attorney's offices responded.
The state medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy to confirm the identity and determine the cause of death.
