St. Helens police are looking for a woman who has been missing for more than a week.
Lynn Paan-Saephan, 29, disappeared from Cornerstone, a residential mental health care facility off Columbia Blvd., in St. Helens, and was reported missing Jan. 22.
St. Helens Police Lt. Terry Moss said the residents and staff went to bed Jan. 21 and when they woke up the next day, Paan-Saephan was gone. She appears to have taken only the clothes she was wearing and is likely not carrying any identification.
Police are also not sure if she walked away from the facility or was picked up in a car.
"Did she wander off and keep wandering?" said Moss. "Nobody knows."
―>According to police, Paan-Saephan, originally from the Portland-Metro area, has a recent history of mental illness and may be delusional. She is considered "at risk."
―>Paan-Saephan is Asian, 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds. She currently has short hair. Based on what clothing was missing from her belongings at the time of her disappearance, police believe she may be wearing gray sweat pants, a tan long-sleeved sweatshirt and high-heeled shoes.
Police are asking community members to check their yards, outbuildings or wooded areas for Paan-Saephan or follow up with police about any evidence that might lead to her whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Paan-Saephan is asked to contact the St. Helens Police Department at 503-397-3333.
