URGENT MISSING MAN: Huber Earl Smutz, 82 - Howard County, MARYLAND (driving a 2007 onda Accord with MD plate HYR743)

Howard County police need your help in the search for a missing elderly man.   

Huber Earl Smutz, Jr., 82, was reported missing around 3 p.m. Saturday. 

Howard County Police say a family member woke up around noon and Smutz was gone from his home in the 700 block of Driver Road in Marriottsville.

He reportedly left in a 2007 silver Honda Accord with MD tag HYR743.

─>Authorities describe Smutz as a white male, balding, with straight gray hair and blue eyes, no facial hair and a medium build.

─>He was last seen wearing a red and blue jacket.

─>Police are concerned about Smutz’s welfare because he has early stage dementia and  no cell phone.

He has been known to frequent Carroll County and the Rotary Club.


Anyone with information should call 911.
