Missing Hutchinson Girl Found Safe

A 10-year-old girl who was reported missing after running from a Hutchinson-area Walmart while having a panic attack has been found safe.

Hutchinson Police Lt. Pickard says Katelyn Boshears had left the Walmart in the 1900 block of East 17th Street around 5:30 p.m. and was found safe just before 8 p.m. near South Plum and East Bigger Street.

Authorities in Hutchinson a searching for a ten-year-old girl who left an area Walmart while having a panic attack Friday afternoon.

Katelyn Daniel Boshears was last seen around 5:30 p.m. near the Walmart in the 1900 block of East 17th Street in Hutchinson.

Hutchinson Police Lt. Pickard says Boshears had a panic attack, became frightened and ran from the area.

Boshears is white, 4 feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 100 pounds and was last seen wearing a baggy, dark gray sweatshirt with horizontal stripes, blue jeans and black shoes. Her hair is just past her shoulders.

Pickard says Boshears has had past issues with panic attacks during which she becomes frightened and runs.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911. A photograph of Boshears wasn't immediately available.
